

John Gray Anderson “Jack” was born May 9th, 1924 in Nottingham, England to Jacob and Janet Anderson. Jack was a member of the Royal Canadian Air force as a Navigator. After the war Jack attended Queen’s University in Canada. It was there he met and married the love of his life, Peg.
There were (4) children added to the family, Martha, Janet, Christine and John. Jack had a successful career as an electrical engineer, but he had many other interests outside of work. He was involved in singing groups from his early college days well into retirement. Jack was always a very active member in Church life, from singing in the choirs, member of the session and as a Stephen Minister at Pines Presbyterian. Jack and Peg were one of five couples that started The Woodlands Community Presbyterian Church. During early retirement, Jack and Peg lived in Wimberley enjoying spending time together in the Hill Country and traveling abroad. Retirement also gave them an opportunity to spend time with their grandson’s Kyle and Jason Silvas and granddaughter Ali Campbell. Jack was an active member of the Lions Club and was Lion of the year in 2014. Jack was a gentle giant that touched many lives and was kind and charitable to all, especially children. He lived a very full 95 years and will be missed by many. A MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR JACK WILL BE HELD AT PINES PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH @ 1:00PM ON JUNE 27TH,
