John “Pete” Ellisor, age 87, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013. He was one of 10 children born in Willis, Texas, August 1, 1925. He retired after many years from Texas Iron Works and served our country honorably in the Navy. He loved farming, fishing, duck hunting, and most of all, his family. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Frankie Ellisor; sons, Steven Wayne Ellisor and wife Kerry, Kenneth Owen Ellisor and wife Maureen, David Alan Ellisor and wife Gwen; daughter, Robin Elaine Taylor and husband Robert; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sister, Zettie Redmon; numerous nieces and nephews and many other relatives. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 15, 2013 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 16, 2013 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
