Jeb was such a great man, and the Jeffers and the Governor will miss him very much. When I first met Jeb we must have talked about blackjack for three hours that night. I loved having a drink with him and listening to all of his wonderful stories. He was truly a special man. Jeff and I always enjoyed his company so very much. The world lost one of it shining stars in Jeb's passing.

Dear Swinford Children,
What fun wonderful memories I have of the good times we had with your parents during those years I taught with Georgia.  Your Dad was a funny funny sweet man whom we all loved, and loved being with the two of them.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers.  They will always be in my heart.
