Johnnie Mae Dow

The Sun rose on February 11, 1933, in Brenham, TX to the late Sumpter Ferguson and Johnnie M. Copeland. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized. She was a devoted wife and mother of four (two sons and twin daughters) and worked as manager at Palais Royal Distribution Center in Houston, TX.  After retiring, Johnnie enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, putting together puzzles, and watching football. In 2007, she remarried her first true love Milby Dow Jr. whom she remained married too until her home going.  Johnnie M. Dow, 84, transitioned from this earthly world into the arms of God on Tuesday, August 1, 2017. Johnnie was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters. In God’s care, Johnnie leaves to cherish in her memory: Her Two Sons: Clenard Dow Sr. (Carla); Milby Dow Jr (Sharon); Twin Daughters: Regina Batiste (Chris); Lorena Dunn (Lee): Three Brothers: Reuben and Melvin Buchanan; Sumpter Ferguson Jr. and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
