Jane graduated from high school and went on to excel as a homemaker. She also worked at Mimosa Bowling Alley, where she enjoyed being part of the community.
She had a passion for collecting clowns and found joy in activities like bowling and playing bingo.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Malcolm and Hettie Harris, her brothers Kenneth and John Harris, and her husband Lawrence Garner.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Cypress Wood Care Center for their compassionate care during Jane's final days.

A funeral service will occur Monday, July 16, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A committal service will occur Monday, July 16, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023.
