Jose was a passionate sports fan, with his first and greatest love being the Chicago White Sox. After moving to Houston, he proudly embraced the Houston Astros, carrying his love of the game with him wherever he went.
Above all, Jose’s greatest joy in life was becoming a father. He leaves behind his beloved two-year-old son, Jayce, who he often called the greatest gift of his life. Jose and Jayce shared an unbreakable bond—best friends who were rarely apart. Every day, Jose devoted himself to being the best father he could be.
In his love for his son, Jose adopted a dog named Chi so Jayce would have a loyal companion to grow up with. Together, the three created a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories in their North Houston apartment.
Jose was known for his kind heart and joyful spirit. A friend to all, he had a natural way of making others smile and was always ready with a joke to lift someone’s day. When he wasn’t spending time with his son, he dedicated himself to his welding projects and growing his business.
He is survived by his loving mother, father, sister, and brother, along with many friends who will deeply miss him.
Though Jose has left this world physically, his spirit and light remain—especially in the life of his son, who will carry his love forward.
