Josephine Alice Hosea,88, passed away peacefully May 9, 2020 in Houston, Texas. She was born on September 18, 1931 in Houston,Texas to parents Johnie & Emma Melcer. In February of 1953 Josephine married the love of her life, Wardell Alfred Hosea. For over 59 years they lived in Houston,Texas where they raised their three children. She had a deep love and passion for her family and her home. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life. She showed her nurturing love by preparing meals for her family, and she especially loved when all the family would gather. She will be remembered as a patient, loving, caring and gentle soul. Mrs. Hosea was preceded in death by her husband, Wardell Hosea and her daughter, Deborah Ollre. She is survived by her son, Thomas W. Hosea; daughter, Linda Kelly and husband, Ricky; granddaughter, Tonya Hamilton and husband, Darren and their children, Parke and Kennedy; granddaughter, Angela Shahan and husband, Ryan and their son Kashton; son-in-law, David Ollre and his daughter, Amy, and other family and friends.
