Jo graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School, Class of 1956. She married Robert Rendon, Sr. in 1958, and together they made their home in Houston, Texas, where they raised four children.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Donna Marie Rendon, Michelle Hunter (Robert), and Joseph Frank Rendon (Veronica); her grandchildren, Stephanie Christine Chavez, Brandi Samantha Guidry, Christopher Anthony Chavez, Robert W. Hunter, Jr., Hailey Michelle Rendon, and Hannah Noelle Rendon; and her great-grandchildren, Stella Lucia Fina Escobar, Draden Blake Guidry, and Dailyn Brielle Guidry. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Modesto and Guadalupe Robles; her husband, Robert Rendon, Sr.; and her son, Robert Rendon, Jr.
Jo worked as an administrative assistant for Larry I. Lipshultz, M.D., at Baylor College of Medicine. After 45 years of dedicated service, she retired. She enjoyed playing softball and basketball at Rusk Settlement, as well as dancing and playing cards with her sister, Lupe.
Jo was actively involved in Forgotten Angels.
