Juan G. Alvarado, 81, of Houston, Texas passed away February 8, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Bustamante, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on January 4, 1937 to Maurilio and Maria Alvarado. Juan enjoyed playing guitar, listening to many types of music and watching his favorite novellas. One of his proudest moments was when he became a United States citizen.
Juan was preceded in death by his parents Maurilio and Maria as well as two Sisters Martha Alvarado and Dolores Cedillo.
Juan is survived by his four children Melinda Alvarado (Lisa), Juan M. Alvarado Jr. (Rick), Patricia Ramos (Gilbert), and Herb Bautista, Sisters Yolanda Ledesma (Sal), Maria L. Alvarado, Maria G. Gomez (Tomas), Rosalinda Mendez (Dennis), Brother Maurilio Alvarado Jr. He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 10:00 am at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Avenue, Houston, Texas, 77023.
