

Mexico, to Antonio Macias and Olivia Pena. He passed away peacefully on February 2, 2025, surrounded by his family.
Mr. Macias studied Mechanical Engineering at Tecnologico de Monterrey located in Monterrey N.L., Mexico. At 17, he immigrated to the United States to live the “American Dream.” After years of learning a new way of life, he met and married his beautiful wife, Rosa Elia Macias, on December 20, 1975.
On July 11, 1987, he became the Owner/President/CEO of his own company, Professional Machine Works, Inc., which specializes in precision machining services for such diverse industries as aerospace, oil and gas, and automotive.
Mr. Macias was known for his quick wit, infectious laughter, and unwavering kindness. his kindness, generosity, and love for his family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He was a proud husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was also about his business and those who were blessed to share in any season of his life are aware that he could be counted on to stay true to his word and always get the job done. He will be deeply missed for his profound wisdom, which touched the lives of all who knew him, guiding them with a gentle and insightful presence.
A 32nd-degree Scottish Rite Mason, Mr. Macias’ home/parent lodge was Park Place Lodge No. 1172 A.F. & A.M., but he held plural memberships in Lone Star Lodge No. 660, Solidarity Lodge No. 1457, and Union Lodge No. 82. He received the Golden Trowel Grand Lodge Award and held the office of District Deputy Grand Master of Masonic 30-G in 2012. In Masonic Year 2024-25, he was Worshipful Master of Union Lodge No. 82, Senior Warden in Lone Star Lodge No. 660, and Master of Ceremonies in Park Place Lodge No. 1172. He held 16 Masonic offices in Blue Lodges and served as Conference Coordinator for several Grand Masters of the Grand Lodge of Texas.
Mr. Macias joined the Arabia Shrine in 1996 and served as Potentate in 2016. Since 2019 he served on the Shriner’s Children’s Texas Board of Governors. He was Texas Shrine Association President in 2016 and served as Golfers President in 2002 and from 2019-2025. He also was a member of the Roustabouts, the Director’s Staff, Arabian Knights, Motor Corps, Clown Jewels, Patrol, JOT Jesters, and so much more. He was a founding member of the Hobby Shrine Club and its current secretary-treasurer. He was also a member of the Baytown Shrine Club, Southeast Shrine Club, and the Order of Quetzalcoatl.
Mr. Macias was also a board member of the Hobby Area Management District where he volunteered his time to advocate, make decisions, and steer the region into an optimistic future.
Mr. Macias is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife of 49 years and their four children: Antonio Macias Jr. of Alvin; Lucinda Macias of Bakersfield, CA; Nelly Macias of Houston; and Monica Macias of Dallas. Grandchildren include Sabrina Enriquez (Seth) of Baytown; Savana Mata of Baytown; Clarissa Macias (Clarissa Sanchez) of Beaumont; Krystal Flores of Baytown; Jonathan Hernandez of College Station; Vanessa Hernandez of Bakersfield, CA; Mia Macias of Houston; and Cameron DeLeon of Grand Prairie. He is also survived by siblings Leonor Aguayo (Carlos), Maria del Socorro Rodriguez (Roberto), Jesus Macias (Rosa), Sergio Macias (Martha), Mario Macias (Maria Guadalupe), Rosa Maria Macias, Sylvia Montalvo (Raul), Blanca Nelly Lopez (Felipe), Jaime Macias (Claudia), Carlos Humberto Macias and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2025, from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Forest Park Lawndale,
6900 Lawndale, Houston, Texas with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 P.M.
A Masonic funeral service will commence at 11:00 A.M., Monday, February 17, 2025. Burial will
be from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M., followed by committal services at Forest Park Lawndale.
Pallbearers include Cameron DeLeon, Jonathan Hernandez, Michael Flores, Robert Flores,
Christopher Salas, and Kelsey Helburg.
Memorials may be made to Shriner’s Hospital of Texas if desired.
