Juanita McVey Bennett, age 90, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015. Born in Madisonville, Texas, she was a loving mother and grandmother who loved animals and the outdoors, and always kept a beautiful yard. She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Bill Bennett; a daughter, Marie Hadley; parents, Joe and Lucy McVey; and brothers, Early McVey and Marshall McVey. Survived by her children, Robert Leslie Bennett and wife Debbie, Joe Carl Bennett and wife Barbara, and Donna Bennett Taylor and husband Charles; 7 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; nieces, Betty Taylor, Martha Percival, Esteline Ellerbee, Norma Bradley and Patsy Walker. Visitation will be held 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 5, 2015 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Graveside Service will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Houston area SPCA by visiting www.houstonspca.org
