Juanita Richardson Causey Berg
February 12, 1922 – April 29, 2021
Juanita Richardson Causey Berg was born on February 12, 1922 in Dialville, Texas to John and Wilma Richardson. In her early years the family moved around a lot but most years were spent in East Texas with her siblings Porta Lee, Nelwyn, Elizabeth, John D. and the twins Vernon Ray and Glenda Fay.
On November 3, 1939 Juanita married Daniel “Woodrow” Causey. He passed away in 1983 after 44 years of marriage. They had three children: Patsy Ann, Johnny Sergei and Louis Wayne.
In January of 1989 Juanita re-married to Travis “Leroy” Berg. They had 13 wonderful year together before he passed in 2002.
Juanita was a stay at home mother until 1954 when she worked at Wieners department store in Jacinto City, Texas. In 1955 The Causey’s moved to the Northside of Houston, where Juanita began her 21-year career in the Auditing department at Sears Roebuck and Company.
Juanita was a faithful servant of God and a member of The Church of Christ throughout her life and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother.
Juanita is preceded in death by her child Louis Wayne, husband Daniel Woodrow Causey, husband Travis Leroy Berg, sisters: Nelwyn, Elizabeth, Porta Lee, brothers: Vernon Ray, John Dwain and parents John and Wilma Whilhite Richardson.
She is survived by her children Pat Stolte of Houston, TX, Johnny Causey and wife Lynn of Hesperia, California; sister, Glenda Grundy of Flint, Texas; sister-in-law, Hazel Innis of Tyler, Texas, Geraldine Donalson and Josephine Causey of Houston, Texas and Ida Sanders of Lawrenceberg, KY; granddaughter, Anita Emshoff and husband John of Fort Worth, TX; grandsons, Robert Stolte of Plano, TX, Michael Stolte and wife Britney of Houston, TX, Alan Daniel Causey and wife Linda of Glendora, CA, John Causey of Hesperia, CA, Tim Causey and wife Kelly of Nashville, TN; great grandchildren, Kayla, Spencer, Harrison, Alex wife Alyssa, Micah, Krystal, Noah, Mary Ellen, Addie, Emma, Brennan, William, Ricky, and Nikki; great-great grandchildren, Jonathan, Mia, Jackson, Jamison and Dustin and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
