June L. Adair

Passed away on May 3, 2010

June L. Adair entered eternal life on May 3, 2010. She was married to Jerry R. Adair, Jr. for 55-1/2 years, both native Houstonians. June was an iconic figure and mentor to many in the Personal Property Appraisals industry in Houston, Texas for 41 years. She worked regularly for nearly every major law firm, bank, trust company and court in Houston. Her career saw her in New York, London, New Orleans and many places in between. She loved her profession until the day she left us. June is survived by her husband Jerry Adair, her son Jerry R. Adair, III and his wife Melissa, her son James R. Adair, 5 grandchildren, whom she cherished and her beloved pet “Lilly”. June was an avid reader of English history, gardener, USDAR member, University of Houston lifetime supporter, loyal friend and animal lover. Known to her children and grandchildren as Nana, she will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Visitation for friends at George H. Lewis and Sons Funeral Home, 1010 Bering Drive, Houston, Texas, 77057. Friday May 7, 2010, 10:00 am – 12:00pm. Private graveside service to follow.
