Kathryn Ann Floyd, born September 4, 1929 to Clyde and Willie Torry in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away May 24, 2012 in Houston, Texas. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry M. Floyd, and son, Mark K. Floyd. She is survived by son, John B. Floyd and wife, Mary; granddaughters, Kristain McCluskey and Sarah Floyd; sister-in-law, Jean Sorrells and husband, Vance, and nephews, Jimmy Floyd and Ridge Floyd.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday, May 28, 2012 at Heights Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2012 in the Chapel of Heights Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Houston National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
