Kathryn "Kathy" Roskey

Kathryn Roskey, 47, known to her family as “Kathy” passed away peacefully on August 11, 2013, surrounded by her family. Kathy was born December 28, 1965 in Houston, TX to Pat and Marcella Jensen. Kathy married her husband, Steven, on March 19, 2005.

Kathy enjoyed the outdoors, cooking, spending time with family, which included her two dogs, Chula and Marley. She was employed in hydraulics and pump applications prior to her passing. Kathy had a beautiful and infectious smile and never met a stranger. She was known for her vibrant and generous personality.

Kathy was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Jensen and is survived by her husband Steven Roskey; mother, Marcella Williams and her husband Bill; father, Pat Jensen; sister, Melissa Gandy and husband Larry; brother, Joey Garza and wife Debbie; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Walter and Ella Roskey; brother-in-law, Michael Roskey and wife Carol; niece, Alexandra Garza; nephews, Brian Miller, Kevin Gandy and wife Polly, Jonathon and Brandon Roskey; and many other loving relatives and friends. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m., with a Vigil service at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 14, 2013 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. A funeral service will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 15, 2013 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org or the the animal rescue center of your choice in her honor.
