

Kenneth William McNeice, age 86, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, he went to Reagan High School in Houston, Texas. He has held jobs as an usher at Garden Oaks Theater on N. Shepherd, worked at Mrs. Baird’s bread, and the majority of his working life as a dispatcher for a trucking company. Kenneth has been a lifelong Missouri Synod Lutheran, with memberships at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, and Epiphany Lutheran Church in Houston, Texas. He was an elder at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church for many years and was involved in Stephen Ministry. He also sang in the church choir. His hobbies included singing, working crossword puzzles and spending time with family and friends. After his wife, Lucille, died in June 2012, he moved to the Heritage Assisted Living Home in Tomball, Texas, where he lived from November 2012 to July 2015. He made many friends there and was known to be the singer at the Heritage. He organized sing-a-longs and wanted everyone to participate. He was very thrilled when his Christmas sing-a-long had many in attendance. He was preceded in death by his wife Lucille McNeice; parents, William Francis and Lucille Laura Bartelt McNeice; and brothers, Charles and William McNeice. Kenneth is survived by his son, Russell Scott McNeice and wife Shirley; daughter, Paula McNeice; 5 grandchildren, Amanda McNeice, Laura McNeice, Sara and Charles Mouzakis, and Andrew Fehler; and sister, Lois Jeanne McNeice-Caka. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2015 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
