Kenneth Wayne Swonke, age 74, passed away Friday, March 7, 2014. He was a native Houstonian, a True Texan, an avid fisherman and Houston Sports fan, and an antique car enthusiast. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Doris Swonke; brother, Edward Swonke; and wife Kathleen Swonke. Survived by son, Dwane Swonke and wife Lora; daughter, Kim Swonke; stepchildren, Wayne Ruley and Beth King; grandchildren, Caleb Swonke, Lydia Swonke, and Bailey Wilson; sisters, Marie Lawry and husband Dennis, and Joy Hunter; brothers, Fred Swonke, and Roy Swonke; and numerous family members. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 14, 2014 at North Park Baptist Church, 4401 Theiss Rd., Humble, Texas 77338.
