

Kevin Edward Crear Sr., affectionately known as "Big Pun " or "Big Kev" was born February 9, 1970 to the late Burleson Billy Crear and Vivian Page Crear. He was the baby boy of four siblings. As a child he accepted Christ at a very early age where he served as a faithful member of Spring Tabernacle Baptist Church of Keenan, Texas under the leadership of the late Reverend Bill Brown. In 2008 Kevin continued his walk with Christ at Yale Street Baptist Church under the leaderships of Reverend, T. Leon Preston II, Pastor. Kevin graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1987. He then attended UTI for a certification in Diesel Mechanics where he graduated with honors in 1989. Kevin wore so many hats, however his quick wit and crafty salesmanship lead him to retail management. He held the position of District Manager for 15 years with Rent-A-Center until his health started to fail. Kevin's many passions included family, friends, The Lodge, fishing, basketball, and laughter, and Loud Music. In the year of 1997, he became a Mason with East Gate Lodge #80 under The Universal Grand Lodge. On Saturday, December 5th 1998, Kevin strengthened his Family's foundation with a devoted partner and friend by marrying Kimberly Augustine. There promise to God created a complete family Kevin Jr., Robert, Nekkia, Ashley and Amber. Gone but never forgotten Kevin's legacy is extended to; his Wife Kimberly, Sons: Robert and Kevin Jr., Daughters: Nekkia, Ashley and Amber, Sisters: Kimberly Jean Crear and Donna Kay Reese (Robert), Brothers: Kenneth (Sharon), and Keith (Xochitl), Aunt: Brenda Crear, Uncle: Lafus Hill, Special Cousins: Cheryl, Agnus and Barbra Ann, Sam and Tony, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends. We loved him dearly but God loved him most
