Larry was a great friend in junior high and high school. We had many good times bowling and playing basketball. I haven't seen him in a long time but it seems he was very well liked in Houston. He will be missed. Prayers to his family!

Larry was larger than life.  I knew him in his vast artistic circle.  He was talented, kind, caring, giving and exuded happiness....always.  I treasure the wine goblet he gifted to me.  The world was a better place with Larry.  I will miss him always.

Larry...there is no secret I loved your shirts, but I loved you as my friend even more! Missing you already.

Larry fought the fight and never complained- the eternal optimist. 

Even if you didn't see Larry in a year, nothing had really changed. Your friendship was the same. Big smile, big hug and you wouldn't know there was a care in the world. Larry's life WAS enjoying life to the fullest. He definitely left his mark as he touched so many people. My deepest condolences to his family as Larry, obviously, came from a loving family. Gone in body, but not in spirit. 
We will always love you, Larry!

Larry, it seems that you have been a supportive good friend to those close to you.  It also sounds as if you did it with a continuous smile on your face.  It's a lucky person who enjoys life and shares it with others.  I didn't see you often but when I did it was with that comfortable feeling of being with an old friend who had never been gone.

Larry, the last time I saw you was at my 60th birthday party in Dallas, just five years ago.  We had a great time and I so appreciated you coming and enjoyed seeing you and laughing the whole evening.  I have known you since our sophomore year in high school.  And you have always had a smile on your face.  I can picture it right now.  You have been such a great friend over the years and we could always just pick up where we left off.  You will be greatly missed.  Until we meet again my friend.

I've never not had a good time when Larry was around-a smile and a laugh were always at the ready!  You will be greatly missed my friend...I'll think about you every time I tee it up.

I was lucky enough to know you at 2 very different ages in my life... 7 and 47.  You always had such a great way about you, Larry. I will miss you, my friend. 

Larry, I have known you for over 20 years....You weren't just a customer at J.Hampton...You were a friend and always lit up the room when you walked in.....You never lost your sense of humor during your treatment...even naming your apparatus'.....Calling them your brother Daryl and your other brother Daryl. We just saw you in the store buying Valentine gifts,with a huge smile on your face as you walked out saying...Have a Great Day, Thank you, and see you soonIt is with a heavy heart we say goodbye to you.....Such a special person in so many ways....You felt like family!

Larry and I were partners for a few years in the '80s. He was my favorite partner--he always had a big smile, was always jovial, and seemed genuinely happy to be alive. Really pleasant to work with. We stayed in touch off and on over the years, and it seemed to me he never changed. I will miss him. The first of our small firm, my first law firm, to pass. And far too young. What a tragedy for all of us. Keep smiling Larry in Heaven where I know you are!
