Laura Dunaway Counts, age 82, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017. Born in Georgia, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Preceded in death by son, Jay Counts; parents, Laura Mae and James Dunaway; sisters, Virginia and Louise; and brother, James. Survived by her husband of 62 years, John “Jack” Counts; daughter, Janet Domec and husband Chris; son, Paul Counts and wife Karen; 9 grandchildren, Brandy Madrid, Nikki Boglin, Chad Counts, Justin Counts, Shawn Henley, Amanda Anderson, Devin Henley, Hunter Domec, and Reagan Domec; 8 great grandchildren; brother, David Dunaway and wife Debra; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 12, 2017 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Crossbridge Christian Church, 15415 West Rd., Houston, Texas 77095.
