Laura Lea Ellis, born July 9, 1929 to Arthur and Parlee Goodnough in Robinson, Texas, passed away November 23, 2012 in Houston. Mrs. Ellis was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Mary Lou Johnson, Elizabeth Bewley, and Christine Keen, and by her beloved husband, W. J. “Red” Ellis and son, Gerald Wayne Ellis. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Dimmick and husband, Larry; grandchildren, Kelly Castorena and husband, Tony, Lesley Stroem and husband, Christian, and Adam Dimmick and wife, Julie, and by two great-grandsons-to-be and other family and friends.
Mrs. Ellis was known for the two great loves of her life, her family and her faith. She will be dearly missed.
