Laura wasn't just my daughter, she was my best friend, and a loving mother.  She had an amazing zest for life, and she was always the life of the party. Her family always came first.  She was the glue that held our extended famiy together.  It has been a month, and there is not a day that goes by that I don't miss her and cry for her and her childen who lost their mother.  She is now in heaven with her brother, Shane, and her grandson, Ryan Shene.  Take care of each other and know that I will be with you when the time is right. There is a hole in my heart and an emptiness in my life without you.  I love you baby girl.   Mom

As I look back on all that's happened since we met......as we grew up.....growing together, changing you, changing me -- becoming Mommy's.....wives.....then ex-wives....lol oh the changes we went through together.  Then there were times when we dreamed together, when we laughed and cried together. As I look back on those days, I realize how much I will truly miss you and how much I truly do love you. The past may be gone forever, but the memories will always be very alive to me!  It's true what they say.....If I'd never met you, I wouldn't like you. If I didn't like you, I wouldn't love you. If I didn't love you, I wouldn't miss you. But I did, I do, and I will.  I'll miss you when something really good happens, because you are the one I will want to share it with. I'll miss you when something is troubling me, because you are the one who understood me so well. I'll miss you when I laugh and when I cry because I know that you are the one that helped to make my laughter grow and my tears disappear. I'll miss you all the time, but I'll miss you most when I revisit all of those familiar places we hung out together at.....and think of all the wonderful times we spent with there and all of the laughter shared.....for those were some of the best times of my life.  I thank you for being that best friend that every female wants.  I truly will miss you and I do love you.  It isn't fair that both you and Mom left me.  Not fair at all.  So, my best  friend, it is with all my heart that I send you off to a most perfect land with all of my love, hoping that you'll always carry my smile with you, and all of the years of memories that we have made together other until we meet again.

Rest In Peace Laura, You deserved  the happiness you were building and so much more time.

Laura, you will always shine in my heart. Taken too soon from those who love and care for you. God must have his reasons. I have one regret, now it is my burden to carry until we meet again. I hope to live my life as happily as you had been able to. I will miss you, dear friend.

Laura, I will miss you SO MUCH! We were friends for almost 27 years when you left us and I thought we would be the crazy old ladies still making people laugh till they cried. My funniest memory of you is from when we were 12 years old, running around your mom's car in our white formal dresses doing the "Chinese fire drill" at a stop light on the way to a Rainbows meeting. We were so young and innocent then. You will be forever in my heart girl.

Aunt Laura, I will always love you and miss you. Watch over us until we can be together again.

Prayers for understanding and strength are with the entire family. As we tried to accept Laura being gone just remember she's walking through Heaven with Shane now preparing and organizing the big family reunion as she loved doing. Love to the entire family.
