She was preceded in death by her father Nathan Carlos Byars II, and is survived by her mother Diane T. Byars, partner Laura Sasse, son Alden Theodore Byars McGowan, sister Debbie Leibham, nieces and nephews Kelly McMahon and her husband Ricky, Ashley, John, and Kyle.
Lauri work as a Financial Analyst for MD Anderson Cancer Center for 28 years. She enjoyed reading and watching movies, and loved her dog Cali and three cats dearly.
Visitation and Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM and the Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
