Lawrence Rene Martinez, a beloved and cherished individual, passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 23. Born on December 22, 2001, Lawrence was a resident of Tomball, Texas. He was known for his adventurous spirit and was both brave and compassionate. His devotion to those he loved was evident in his selfless and generous nature.
Lawrence was pursuing a career in construction management, attending college with the goal of making an impact in the field. His hard-working and honest demeanor made him a respected figure among peers and mentors alike. His personal interests included cars, music, fishing, singing, swimming, the outdoors, weight lifting, and bike riding, reflecting his zest for life and love for new experiences.
Lawrence was deeply involved in his community, always eager to help others as much as possible. His gentle and kind-hearted nature made him a beacon of inspiration to those around him. He was wise beyond his years, offering thoughtful advice and support to anyone in need. His humor and resilience were a testament to his joyful outlook on life, often expressed through playful interactions with his loved ones.
Lawrence's family includes his mother, Sylvia Parra, and his brother, Jacob Martinez. He is also survived by his grandparents, Jose Parra and Guadalupe Parra, his uncle Roland, and numerous other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
A visitation will be held at Earthman Resthaven, located at 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX, on October 24, 2025, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same venue from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, with a committal service taking place at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
Pallbearers honoring Lawrence's life will include Jacob, Chris, Anthony, Ryan, Joel, Roland Jr., Kenneth N., and Michel.
