My mother, Josephine Porras Lara, would like to extend her condolences to the Villasenor family.  While I did not know him he was very good friends with my father, Margarito Lara who passed away in September 2010 at age 82.  Mr. Villasenor attended his funeral.  My mother tells me he was a wonderful man and again very good friends with my father and I believe they grew up together.  May he rest in peace!

I was so sad to hear of Lorre's passing. Since he was my father's (Johnnie Rodriguez) good friend, we have many good memories that were shared between us.  Yes, they were involved in the Rusk Athletic Club softball & basketball tournaments, but they were also family men & that meant beach & picnic get togethers.  I hope that God will comfort his family, friends and everyone he touched.

My Heart felt Prayers go out to Mrs. Villasenor &  Family. You all have always been family to me, I never felt so much Love .... all the times I visited with you  & Mr. Villasenor.

My uncle was a gentle and a soft spoken  man, he will be missed. My prayers  are with  you all.

Mr. Villasenor was a friend of my parents; Richard and Angelita Rocamontes. I remember him at the Rusk (Latin-American) Tournaments, working diligently  with all the members to make sure the tournament  was a success. My thoughts and prayers to the family during this difficult time.

I was sad to hear about Lawrence. Our families were friends and he &  my Dad (Johnnie Rodriguez) had been friends since they were young adults. All the Rusk Athletic Club Tournaments that they did together, bring back fond memories of Lawrence. The Villasenor family have my deepest sympathy and may God's grace & love comfort your family in this time of loss.
