Lena A. Spedale, born June 12, 1924 to Mack and Lena Spedale in Highbank, Texas, passed away October 30, 2012 in Houston. Lena was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings. She is survived by her sister, Fena Loria; brother, Sam Spedale and wife, Bessie; sister-in-law, Julia Spedale, and by many nieces, nephews, and other family.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2012 in the Chapel of Heights Funeral Home, where a rosary vigil service will begin at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 2, 2012 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4419 North Main Street, Houston, Texas 77009. Interment will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
