I am so sorry that I found out today about Dr. McGown’s passing. I work with him for several years at Texas City CBOC. He was caring and a kind man. We would talk not only about professional issues together but personal issue also. The veterans t  he at he treated had nothing but praise for him always given them the time they needed to talk. I will miss you friend, God Speed RIP….

Dr McGowen was an amazing physician and I was blessed to work with him in Texas City for many years. I loved to listen to him talk because he would always teach me something. He cared for his patients and was always so kind. He was one of the good ones. May he rest in peace and my prayers are with his family. 
I wish I would have known and I’m sorry his work family was not there to support his family in this time. We would have been for sure. Hugs and prayers.

Dr. McGowen was a highly intelligent , distinguished and an eloquent physician . I never had the opportunity to meet him in person only via teams as we corresponded about patient treatment interventions. I am certain  that his patients have benefited greatly from his dedicated professional medical care towards their healing process.

Though I never had the chance and honor to meet Leonard, I know how much he was loved by you both, and how deeply his absence will be felt.
