Lidia Ortega, 88, was born September 19, 1928 in Allende, Coahuila Mexico, and passed away March 27, 2017 in Houston, Texas. Lydia worked in the medical records department at Jefferson and Ben Taub Hospital, and was a member of South Main Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her sisters, Raquel and Esther Ortega. She leaves behind her nephews, Victor Manuel Ortega Sr., and Jaime Ortega and her niece, Blanca Estela Pace.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home where funeral services will begin at 1:30. Interment will immediately follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
