

Lillian Leovigilda Pinela Harrison, age 88, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2013 in Cypress, Texas. Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, South America, she was a devoted mother of 7 children. Reading the bible, saying her rosary, and honoring God each day were very important to her. She encouraged her children and grandchildren to seek higher education, but always to serve God first. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Lt. Joseph G. Harrison, Sr.; parents, Jose and Lucia Pinela; daughters, Mary Josephine Harrison, and Cynthia C. Wooten. Survived by son, Dr. Joseph Harrison, Jr. and wife Dr. Lillian Josof Harrison; daughters, Josephine Owen and husband Raymond “Chuck” Owen, Rhonda Hurley and husband Peter “Chip” Hurley, Kathryn Ramirez and husband George Ramirez, and Patricia Garivey; 14 grandchildren, Paula Marsh and husband Bill, Chuck Owen II and wife Diana, Paul Wooten and wife Laree, Jennifer Wooten, Michael Harrison, David Harrison, Jackie Hurley, Elliot Hurley, Ian Hurley, Mike Ramirez, Kristopher Ramirez, Sarah Ramirez-Logan and husband Steven, Kristin Easter and husband Alan, and Robyn Garivey; 14 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Assumption Catholic Church, 901 Rose Lane, Houston, Texas 77037. Rite of Committal will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Elliot Hurley, Ian Hurley, Mike Ramirez, Kristopher Ramirez, Steven Logan, and Alan Easter. Honorary pallbearers are, Chuck Owen, Paul Wooten, Chip Hurley and George Ramirez. Altar server will be Colin Wooten.
