Linda "Herme" Castro

Linda “Herme” Castro, 79, passed away on March 7, 2015 with her family at her side. She will be deeply missed. Linda was a faithful and loyal servant of the Lord. She set an example for her family and others by loving the Lord with all her heart and living her life according to his word and promises. Linda was recognized for her 24 years of dedication and faithful service to the community served at Juan Marcos Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her mother Guadalupe Olmos and brother Carlos “Boy” Olmos. She is survived by her husband Fred Castro, daughter Laura Martinez and husband Silvano; siblings Esperanza Garcia and Max Olmos, along with many other loving family members and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital and for the support of family and friends. A Memorial Gathering with the family will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Boulevard, Houston, Texas 77008. Linda and Fred found a new home of friends and family in Spring, Texas. They became members of Advent Presbyterian Church and were warmly accepted by Pastor Jon and the rest of the membership. Our family will be forever grateful for the prayers, cards, calls, and other concerns of Linda’s new friends. You know who you are and Fred will personally thank each and every one.
