Linda Contreras (Martin) who passed from this Earth on June 5, 2013. Born in Houston, Texas on September 14, 1955, she was 57 years old. She leaves behind family members and friends that will miss her dearly. She opened her heart to those close to her, unconditionally, and to the greatest extent that she could. 

Love is The Lesson of Life. Having demonstrated this greatest of all lessons, God called her away towards a higher purpose in the Heaven's beyond this world. In her final days, God was with her, and surrounded by His Love, she was finally at peace within herself.

And indeed, as time goes on, let us remember this transformation. To those who travel the farthest through the greatest adversity in life go the greatest rewards. She is special. We will all miss Linda, and wish her well as she steps forward on a new and greater experience in the Realms of God.

A candle for you from mom who loves you so much and will miss you so much. She said you called her every day and came to visit her when you could. She has shed very few tears in her life but you are so special, she shed tears of love for you.

We love you Linda with all our hearts. A few days ago you told me you were reading your Bible often, praying to be free from pain, and you felt close to God and knew God would take good care of you. For my sweet momma, I love you and miss you beyond words.In my heart I know you are at peace. Please rest momma. You will forever be with us. Your love will never leave us. Tears will flow and your loving memory will forever remain. You are my strength and my foundation. Loving you is easy momma. Cristen and I will cherish you and hold you in our hearts. Linda was a unique and caring person, she always put her problems on the back burner while helping others. She was witty and always made us laugh. I believe she is at Gods Right hand looking down at us. Will miss her deeply, and she will in our memories always.
