Linda Ann Hartman

Linda Ann Hartman, 76 of Kingwood, Texas passed away in the early hours of August 1, 2024. She was born in Houston, Texas on August 6, 1947, to Robert and Norma Lou Kasperlain where she grew up on the northside of Houston. Linda attended Klein High School until she met the love of her life, Harvey E. Hartman Sr. whom she joined in marriage on May 31, 1963. Harvey and Linda made a home in the Aldine area and remained devoted to one another for 61 years. Linda later earned her GED from North Harris County College and had a successful career in the banking industry. She worked for over 25 years across several financial institutions including Greenpoint Bank, Compass Bank, Texas Commerce/Chase Bank, and North Houston Bank. Linda raised three sons before settling in Kingwood, Tx where she became a member of St Martha’s Catholic Church. Linda had a passion for cooking and taking care of her husband and family. She had a deep affection for animals, notably her dogs Barney, Abigale, and Annabella, but her love for nature extended to wildlife, where she faithfully watched developing eagles in their nest.

She is survived by her husband Harvey E. Hartman Sr and children and spouses, Harvey E. Hartman Jr and Joy Michelle Hernandez-Hartman, Victor A. and Karla A. Hartman, Jeffery W. Hartman Sr and Holly F. Brown, and honorary daughter Holly Strauss. Her grandchildren and spouses; Harvey E. “Tre’” Hartman III, Clarissa A. and Chris Butsch, Andrew and Melanie Hartman, Jeffery W. Jr and Kendra Hartman, Anthony “Blake” and Mariah Hartman, Austin and Donnyel D. Hartman, Logan “Taylor” and Rebecca Hartman, Ashleigh Hartman, Nicholas Hartman and Sommer L and Dylan Rogers. Linda was also the proud “GiGi” of 28 Great Grandchildren. Linda also had many nieces and nephews that she loved very much. Her brothers, sisters, and spouses are Robert H. Jr and Joan Kasperlain, Dianne K. and James Linsiesen, Mary K and Steve Leggio, and William” Billy” R. Her parents Robert H. Sr and Norma Lou Kasperlain and sister Dianne Linsiesen preceded her in death.

A visitation for Linda will be held Thursday, August 8, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A funeral service will occur Thursday, August 8, 2024, from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A graveside service will occur Thursday, August 8, 2024, from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A celebration of life reception will occur Thursday, August 8, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060
