Lisa was born on October 23, 1966, in Houston, Texas, to Sherry and Rudy Blattel. She was a beloved member of the Blattel family from her first breath, but wasn't official until she was 8 days old, and was later blessed with a younger brother, Mike. Family was always her greatest priority. In her youth, Lisa enjoyed figure skating, running track, listening to music, riding in fast cars, and spending time with friends and family. She cherished being outdoors, traveling, and was passionate about animals. Lisa lived life adventurously and to the fullest, driven by her stubborn, spunky, and spontaneous nature. Her determination was unparalleled, and she pursued her goals with unwavering resolve.
Despite the challenges of health issues, Lisa remained determined to live life fully. She cherished her time with those she loved most and looked forward to anything and everything they did together. Lisa found immense joy in being a mother to her pride and joy Matthew and eventually her daughter-in-law Kristina. She was very grateful for the bond, love, and relationship she shared with her. Nothing made her happier than being their Mama. Her family, including her husband Clinton, mother Sherry, son Matthew, daughter-in-law Kristina, angel grandbabies Emmalea, Mattie J, and Madilyn, were the center of her world. Her biggest support system. Even after the loss of her son Matthew, her grandbabies, and their dog Sammy, Lisa still refused to give up the fight she was fighting.
Lisa's resilience and determination were evident as she faced her health challenges. She fought tirelessly against her ailments, and still didn't give up hope that she could beat it. Her promise to fight for her loved ones was steadfast until her body could no longer endure. Her passing, no matter how hard and painful it has been on those left to cherish her love and memories, has finally reunited her with her dad, son, grandbabies, and her beloved Sammy girl. Where she is finally able to rest and be at peace.
Lisa is survived by her mother Sherry Blattel of The Woodlands, husband Clinton Evans of Coldspring, Daughter-in-law Kristina Partain of Coldspring, brother and sister-in-law Mike and Debbie Blattel of The Woodlands, nieces Rehn and Maggie, nephew Christian, aunt Lyn Wickie, and numerous family and friends.
