Loida Trevino Agudelo

Our beloved mother Loida T. Agudelo passed away on August 25, 2026, surrounded by the people she loved most. Although our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort knowing that she is at peace and resting in the loving arms of God.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Dorance; her parents, Edmundo and Elisa; and her siblings, Edmundo and Delia. She leaves behind her three children and their spouses, Dorance Jr. (wife: Bonnie), Diana (husband: Fernando), and Debbie (husband: Daniel), her seven grandchildren, Fernando Jr. (wife: Nohely), Vanessa, Denise, Dorance Andres, Camilla, Cristiano, and Jonathan; and her brother Oziel. She also leaves to cherish her memory a niece Nelly, her companion Miguel, and other close relatives.

She was the heart of our family. She was the kind of mother who gave everything she had to the people she loved. She never needed to be asked to help; she simply noticed what needed to be done and did it. She fed us, cared for us, cleaned up after us, worried about us, prayed for us, and loved us in all the ways that mattered most.

She fought a long and courageous battle with liver disease. Through years of difficult moments, she continued to show an incredible strength and positivity that we will never forget. Even when life was hard, she found a reason to smile. She taught us that difficult circumstances do not have to take away our hope.

The greatest gift she gave us was her faith. She taught us to believe in God, to pray, and to never lose our faith even when we did not understand why difficult things were happening. Through every difficult moment, her faith in God gave her strength and hope, and she taught us to lean on that same faith whenever life became difficult.

Our mom believed in us. She supported us through every chapter of our lives. She celebrated our successes, stood beside us during our struggles, and reminded us through her actions what unconditional love truly looks like. She also taught us how to be parents. By watching her, we learned that being a good parent is not about being perfect. It is about being present. It is about loving your children through every mistake, every struggle, every success, and every season of life. Her smile made people feel welcomed, and her caring heart extended far beyond her immediate family.

We promise to tell your grandchildren about the woman you were, the mother you were, and the love you gave so freely. We promise to keep your traditions alive, to care for one another, and to love our families the way you taught us to.

We know you are with loved ones, and we find peace believing that you are finally free from pain and surrounded by the love of God.

Thank you for being our mom. Thank you for loving us when we didn't deserve it, believing in us when we doubted ourselves, and teaching us what unconditional love truly means. You were our mother, our comfort, our example, and the heart of our family. We will miss you every day. We will love you for the rest of our lives. And we will carry you with us in everything we do.

Until we meet again, Mom. We love you forever!

A Funeral Service will be held at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060, US, on September 5, 2026, at 2:00 pm.

A Committal Service will be held at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060, US, on September 5, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
