Londyn Rae Rozier was granted her angel wings on September 25th 2017, following a lifelong illness. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Londyn had touched in some small way throughout her short, yet very memorable life. Londyn’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her gentle smile could melt the hearts of those around her.
Although Londyn’s illness made her appear frail, she possessed strength, perseverance, and an ability to fight up until her very last breath. With her courage, she led us to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. With Londyn’s passing we remind others that her life is one to be celebrated. Although, we will miss her every day. She will forever remain in our hearts. Through her teachings about life, we were able to create wonderful memories.
Londyn leaves behind many wonderful caregivers that provided love and support that enhanced her quality of life. Londyn’s love extends to her wonderful nurses, doctors, and the entire staff at the Texas Children’s PICU Unit in The Woodlands. All of these great people, too numerous to mention, provided Londyn with love and dignity in her life and also in her death.
Londyn is survived by her loving parents, Samantha Ferrel and JaMichael Rozier; sister Giselle Garcia; maternal grandparents Jackie Cook, Gabriel Ferrel and Grace Garza; paternal grandparents Pamela Gobert, Kenny Lewis, Mike Rozier and Rochelle Rozier; aunts Andrea Blacklaws, Amber Rozier, Hadi Robles, and Kennedy Lewis; uncles Gabriel Ferrel, Jared Blacklaws, and Michael Rozier; maternal great grandparents Lucy Verde, Milton Verde, Mary Saldate, and Paul Ferrel; paternal great grandparents Virgie Martinez, Rene Martinez, Temple Gobert, Onezime Gobert, Beatrice Rozier and Gary Rozier; and cousin Savannah Blacklaws.
