Lorenza Guzman Flores, 104, peacefully passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2019 in Houston, Texas. She was born August 7, 1914 in Carrizo Springs, Texas to Merced Luera and Petra Moran Guzman. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Amado Luna Flores, her daughter, Lucia Delia Flores; grandson, Hector Flores. Lorenza is survived by her son, Arturo Flores and his wife Estela; daughters, Berta Flores Champion and her husband Frank, and Elsa Sylvia Flores; grandchildren, David Flores and his wife Sarah, Maria Reed and her husband Ronald, Frank Matthew Champion, Victoria Champion, Mario Champion and his wife Laurie and Marcus Champion and his wife Lucia and nine great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 from 5-9 PM with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 10:00 AM in the Colonial Chapel at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
