LORETTA PEARL LOCKHART, age 86, has gone to join our Lord on June 9, 2012. A long time resident of Houston, she was born on December 11, 1925 in Hornbeck, Louisiana. Following 38 years of service, Loretta retired from AT&T (Southwestern Bell). Loretta was a long time member of Broadway Baptist Church. Loretta was preceded in death by Hugh P. Lockhart. She will be missed by those she leaves behind, which include her daughters and their husbands, Ann and Armand Brown, Joyce and John Bice, Mitzi and Dennis Bedingfield; grandchildren, Richard Brown and wife Melissa, Kristina Robertson and husband Jeff, Brandon Bice and wife Allison, Ginger Bice, and Dennis, Kendall and Travis Bedingfield; great-grandchildren, Danny Upchurch and Kinsley Brown, and Braden and Kelton Robertson, and Tristan Bice. sister Ocie Lee Parker as well as many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday June 12, 2012 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Services will be held in the Family Chapel at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Broadway Baptist Church.
