Louis Alvardo Estrada Jr.

Louis Alvarado Estrada Jr., a native Houstonian, passed away on January 14, 2026, at the age of 59. Born on January 2, 1967, Louis was known for his brave, cherished, humorous, kind-hearted, loyal, selfless, and thoughtful nature.

Louis was married to Rosalinda Estrada for 20 years, a testament to their enduring love and commitment. He was a diehard fan of Houston sports teams and the Texas Longhorns, and he had a deep love for music and concerts.

He is survived by his loving spouse, Rosalinda Estrada; his mother, Esther Perez; his sons, Christopher Estrada (Maria) and Rudy Jacob Fernandez; and his siblings, John (Bernie) Estrada, Raymond (Joanne) Estrada, Cippy (Veronica) Estrada, and Michael (Flor) Estrada. He leaves behind grandchildren Breana Estrada and Nathan Estrada, as well as 17 nieces and nephews.

Louis was greeted in heaven by his father, Louis Alvarado Estrada; stepfather, Joe Perez; grandmother, Juanita Cavasoz; grandfather, Miguel Hernandez; mother-in-law, Lisa Ortiz; aunts Mary Salazar and Frances Hernandez; uncles Ben Soto and Freddy Orosco; and cousins Shawn Deolloz, Maximino Castillo Sr., Pete Castillo III, Angelica Mercado, Manuel Arellano Jr., Gina Herrera, and Diana Reyes.

Pallbearers for the services will include Jonathan Estrada, Steve Arellano, Ben Soto III, Rudy Jacob Fernandez, Brandon Estrada, David Estrada, Nathan Estrada, and Isaac Estrada.

Services to honor Louis's memory will be held at Earthman Resthaven, located at 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A Visitation will take place on January 20, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a Rosary Service at 5:30 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on January 21, 2026, at 11:00 am, followed by a Committal Service at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home & Cemetery from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.

Louis will be remembered fondly by his family and friends, who cherished his presence and the joy he brought into their lives.
