

Louise Ann Jamail passed away on December 14, 2013 after a short illness and will be reunited will her beloved parents and the Lord. Louise Jamail was born September 9, 1931 in Houston, the second youngest of ten children (7 daughters and 3 sons) of Assad and Marie Jamail. She graduated from Incarnate Word Academy and enjoyed a long career as an executive assistant with Prudential Insurance Company before early retirement. She devoted much of her life to her religion and, with her sister Lillian, to the care of her mother who died in 1984. Louise always greeted with a smile that gave testimony to the caring person behind it. Through numerous medical challenges, she always said she was “fine” and expressed concern only for the happiness and health of others. Her big heart led her to support many charitable efforts, especially those connected with the well-being of children. She delighted in the activities and successes of nieces and nephews and their children as well. Louise was predeceased by her parents and brothers Edmund, Fred, and Owen Jamail and by her sisters Marcelle Jamiel, Jeanette Bedell, and Adele Maack. She leaves to mourn her passing sisters Lillian Jamail, Marguerite Fisher, and Marolyn Theis, numerous nephews and nieces, and the many friends who were touched by her kind, gentle nature. A funeral service for Louise Jamail will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at the Chapel of Angels, Forest Park Lawndale – 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston. A viewing and visitation will be held immediately prior to the service. Interment in the family plot will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
