Lovie always displayed the "Go Give" Spirit.  Her life was a "job well-done".  RIP.

I met Lovie many years ago through her daughter Patsy and recall her vibrant and loving personality from the very moment we met.  May the Lord comfort the family and friends that were touched by this very "special" person.  Surely the Lord will say, "Well done good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of your Master."

I will always Lovie as a wonderful loving person. I remember going to her house in Tomball, TX for my Mary Kay products. I always felt like she was just waitng for me to come by for visit. She is and was a very loving person.. She will be missed by many.

Lovie, was the greatest National  after Mary Kay.   Whenever  she  came to Richmod she would absolutely fill the room with her love and laughter.  We really  missed her after she retired. We all loved her.

I will never forget the Mary Kay events attended with Lovie Quinn. She was a true inspiration.

I have such fond memories of Lovie!  Her first trip to Richmond, Va. after becoming a Mary Kay National Sales Director she gave us all a motto "If it is to be, it is up to me!" I did not know Lovie but after looking at all of the photos of her I wish that I had had the pleasure. I am a friend of her daughter Patsy and now I can surely see where her beauty came from. Although I never personally met Lovie, I do remember her name from Mary Kay events and recognition.  Looking through the photo gallery was amazing to see a Mary Kay legend and pioneer who worked so hard to make her Mary Kay business a success. She has inspired me and I know I need to do more! She is in good company now with Mary Kay in heaven. God be with all of her family  and friends during this hard time.

I met Lovie at a Career Conference in Houston in 1991.  As I went on stage to receive recognition, she made eye contact with me as they called my name, and applauded my accomplishment like she had known me forever.  She said,

I remember Lovie fondly.  Having recently moved to Richmond, VA in 1990 and being adopted into the Penny Pearsall unit, Lovie frequently came to Richmond and took part in Penny's events.  I can still see her sitting there and telling the stories of Mary Kay.  Lovie was always kind, caring and yes funny.  I was never made to feel like an outsider in her presence.  Every time I see the picture of Lovie "kissing the Cadilac", I'll remember warmly her telling the story of Mary Kay standing there saying "now can I get a hug".  Rest in peace Lovie and we'll keep your family in prayer.

What wonderful stories posted in the guestbook. It is no wonder why she was so successful in business and in life. She continues to inspire although her time on earth is done.

Although I didn't know Lovie- we are part of the same family. I am one of her Mary Kay sisters and am proud to be part of that family. It is obvious that Lovie's parents knew how special she was going to be by the name they gave her.

Lovie was one of the greatest teachers I ever had in Mary Kay.  I will always remember her advice to make people laugh....She made her mark in my life.

Lovie and I have been close friends for many years and debuted as National Sales Directors on stage together with both our families there....what a grand event that was. I have sooo many wonderful memories of our times together; MK events; road trips from Houston to Dallas; NSD trips; and many long phone conversations. The first sales meeting I ever attended was Lovie Quinns.  I had just moved to Edna, Texas, and took a guest with me.  Oh my, was I in for a treat.  A woman of so much wisdom.  She took me and my guest to lunch.  My guest joined and Lovie did new consultant training after lunch.  Just sittng there and listening to stories she told us about her friend Mary Kay Ash.  This was priceless.  This time with Lovie is remembered as one of the highlights in my Mary Kay career.

As a Mary Kay consultant it is always sad to read of losing another sweet lady who loved her business and customers the way Mary Kay Ash ask us to do as we go out and about sharing. She was a master at using her wit and humor to keep us laughing and learning at the same time !  Lovie and I became an NSD Emeritus at the same time and Bill and I have had countless times with Lovie on many of our NSDE Trips that we will always treasure ! Lovie lived up to her name!! A true "Lovie". Her contagious smile lit up the room and she was always eager to help so many people with her selfless attitude.

Words can never express the sympathy Percy and I send to all of Lovie's  family.  Lovie loved her family more than anything .  I owe so much to Lovie as she taught me the value of having a positive attitude about life. I would never have become a NSD without her mentoring.   We shared so many long nights of laughing and sharing her wisdom.  I treasure all the fun  times we had as she helped me build my business and on the NSD trips!  What fun.... she could make me laugh until I cried.  I don't know who loved Lovie the most me or Percy...in fact all the guys loved her.  A beautiful light of love and sunshine has gone out and we will truly miss her.  But I have a feeling that Mary Kay greeted her  with open arms  and some where Lovie is dancing!  .  What a special friend Lovie is.

Aunt Lovie would absolutely fill a room when she entered in to it. Her contagious laughter, smile and absolute love of life would cause everyone to notice her arrival. Her unconditional love for her family was so evident with her words and actions.  She once told me when I was sharing a hurtful situtation that, "this too will pass" and that "time is a great healer".  
She was so wise with her advice and it certainly comforted me at the time.  My dad (her oldest brother) would just brag and brag on his baby sister's sucess in Mary Kay.  How she had became so sucessful all on her own, as he would put it "just selling lipstick". Her perserverance taught me to stick with my dreams no matter what. Lovie, you were truly one of a kind and I smile remembering the absolutely great times we had when four of us were in San Antonio, Louisiana, and Chicago.  Now you are truly "dancing with the stars"!!

Lovie was a breath of fresh air. When she entered a room, I was reminded of Loretta Young when she opened the grand doors and she was dressed to the hilt!  Lovie was loving and caring; loved to dance and cruise!  We will all miss Lovie and her charm.
