

She was born on October 31st, 1937, in Anderson, Texas, to Anthony and Cecile Kimich. Lucille grew up in Plantersville, TX, on a farm with her thirteen brothers and sisters. Lucille enjoyed playing the guitar and listening to country music. She had a passion for gardening and enjoyed working outside at her home in Aldine, TX. For fifty years, Lucille worked at Gayla Industries where she took great pride in making toys, balloons, and kites for children. Later in life, she could often be found watching her “Westerns” and getting her “walks” in. But of all the hobbies and passions Lucille loved in life, being “Granny” and spending time with family was her true fulfillment.
Lucille is preceded in death by her husband Paul Bugaj and daughter Diane Rocks. She is survived by her children, Deborah Bugaj, Denise and Ricky Bailey, Patrick and Brenda Bugaj. Grandchildren, Preston, Randy, Ashley, Kevin, Rusty. Great Grandchildren, Malayna, Jordan, Kenlie, and Ramsey.
She will be missed by all but her memory will live in our hearts forever.
A reception for Lucille will be held Monday, October 25, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A visitation will occur from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 7801 Bay Branch Dr, The Woodlands, TX 77382. A committal service will occur Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 3:20 PM at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060.
