The gates of Heaven opened to receive our dear mother, Lucy C. Garcia, Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at the age of 88. She was an elegant and wonderful kindhearted mother, who was adored by her children and grandchildren that the Lord had blessed us with. We will have heartfelt and everlasting memories of our beloved mother that we will always cherish in our hearts. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Garcia; grandson, Roman Garcia; parents, Marcos and Juanita Castilleja; and brothers, Johnny and Lorenzo Castilleja. She is survived by daughters, Alice Garcia Barrientos, Gloria Carpio and husband Tony, Belinda Jasso, and Sylvia Ann Diaz; son, Gregory Garcia, Jr.; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sisters, Florentina Jara and Lupe Garcia; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, with a Prayer Service to begin at 7:00 p.m. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 30, 2015 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
