

It’s with great sorrow that Lydia Louise McCrocklin Robinson passed away Friday September 5 2025 in her home peacefully with her family around her. Born April 5, 1939 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was raised in LaMarque Texas where she lit up hearts as high school majorette and reigned as Queen of her Junior Coronation.
She devoted her time for many years, as the President of the Junior Forum in Pasadena Texas. She also spent 14 years as a Housemother at Harden House for freshmen girls at the University of Texas where she made memories with each and every girl that came along. She talked a lot about how much those years meant to her.
Survived by her children, sons Craig Robinson, David Robinson (wife Jill) and daughter Gaye Lynn Gostisha (Husband Scott) along with her 6 cherished grandchildren: Chris and Thomas Johnson, Braden and Conner Gostisha, Evelyn and Austin Robinson. Through the years became a great grandmother of 6 great grandchildren: Ryker, Avery, Grace, Lucy, Bo Riley and Chase. She was known as “Grandmother” and she loved them all dearly.
Known for her Humor, and strength of will, she left a mark on those who knew her and loved her.
We will all miss you every day and know that you are our Angel looking down on us where you will be at peace.
A graveside service for Lydia will be held Friday, September 12, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023.
