Lydia B. Tamayo, age 71, of Houston, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2014. She was born December 18, 1943. Survivors include Daughter, Maria Christina Tanguma; grandchildren, Mario Elias Tanguma, Christopher John Tanguma. Preceded in death by husband, Fred Tamayo; son, Fred Tamayo Jr. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 26, 2014 from 5-9pm with a rosary at 7pm at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 9am on Monday, October 27, 2014 at Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral, 1701 San Jacinto St., Houston, TX 77002 followed by committal service in the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
