LYLE ROBERT RICHARD KIRCHHOFF was born June 27, 1941 in Lincoln, Nebraska and passed away on March 13, 2011 in Houston, Texas at the age of 69. He retired from the United States Army following his duty in Desert Storm. He was a hero to his family. He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Barbara Young Kirchhoff. He is survived by his children, Tracy McCarver, Danette Bennett, Carolyn Shank and Randall Tucker; grandchidren, Joseph, Joellea, Lee, Tracy, Casey, Taylor and Robert; great grandson, Michael; sister, Kate Green; brothers, Gene Kirchhoff and Paul Kirchhoff along with other relatives and friends.
A Memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 24, 2011 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home.
