Lynette Michele Mendoza

Lynette was born to Tony and Josephine Mendoza, July 11, 1967, in Houston, Texas. She was the first of three children. She graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1985. She completed some courses at University of Houston.

Lynette is survived by her sister, Pamela Morales (Angel Morales) and niece, Sarah Rodriguez (Richard Ponce). She also leaves to cherish her memory, aunts/uncles: Lydia Walden, Phillip Aguilar, Edward Colunga, Linda Castillo (John), Robert Mendoza (Paula), Connie Mendoza. Cousins to which we were raised like brothers and sisters. Kevin Aguilar (Nora), Jason Benavides (Michelle), April Mendez (Arlie), Aaron Walden, Eric Lopez (DeAndrea), Deric Lopez (Stephanie), Leticia Walden, Joseph Colunga (Leslie), Jodi Messa, Anthony Messa (Martha), Steven Messa, Michael Rodriguez (Christine), David Messa (Maria), Michelle Tellez (Cuauhtemoc), Corey Messa, Robert Messa (Dolores), Robert Mendoza Jr, Michael Castillo, Terry Barron, Wolf Barron (JoAnn), Chris Barron (Jessica), Tony Mendoza (April), Celia Barron. Jaden Mendez (Godson).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Josephine Mendoza and her brother, Tony L. Mendoza. Her Grandparents: Seferino Aguilar, Gertrude Bautista, Rudolph and Mary Mendoza. Aunts/Uncles: Margaret and Alfred Benavides (Godparents), Alice Colunga, Ronnie Walden, Yolanda and Daniel Messa, Rudolph Mendoza. Cousins: Julie Castillo

Lynette worked various jobs mostly dealing with data entry or various computer related projects. Her biggest hobby was anything involving music. Music was her life. I would like to honor her memory by continuing to nurture the love for music and having a great time.

A memorial service is scheduled at Forest Park Lawndale for Thursday, January 4th, 2024, 1:00pm (public), 2:00pm (rosary) and 3:00pm (Committal Service) at family burial site at Forest Park Lawndale. Reception will follow; details will be given later.
