Macrina Salgado Valero was born in Arcelia, Guerrero (Mexico) on May 30, 1956 and passed away surrounded by loved ones on December 28, 2019 in Houston, TX. Macrina Valero was a loving consummate wife, mother and grandmother who dedicated herself to her growing family and supporting them. Macrina touched so many lives in many different ways that she will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband Mario Valero; son's Mario, Noe and Diego; grandchildren Alianna, Bella, Sophie, Madelynn, Marco, Mariana and Matthew; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family is very grateful for the care provided to Macrina by her doctors and nurses at St. Luke's Hospital in the Medical Center. They are also thankful to all the family and friends who called or visited.

A visitation will be held Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A funeral service will occur Friday, January 3, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo, 501 Tidwell Road, Houston, TX 77002, with interment to immediately follow in Earthman Resthaven Cemetary.
