Madgalen Jean Matelski

Jean was preceded in death by her parents and in laws; five brothers, Ben, Ernest, Daniel, Jimmy, Alton and their spouses; four sisters, Esther, Julia, Helen, Lorraine.and their spouses; her first husband Theodore Marek; her second husband Pete Matelski; her son Thomas Matelski and son-in-law Pat Ballamy.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-laws; Katy and Gary Stelter, Sheila Ballamy, Debby Bailey, Susan and Chuck, Jeanine and Robert

Grugan, Jackie and John Patton; her son and daughter-in-law Terry and Annie Matelski; one sister-in-law, Vlasta Ofczarzak; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held Wednesday, September 21, at 10:00 AM at St. Christopher Catholic Church, A Funeral Mass for Madgalen will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 8150 Park Pl Blvd, Houston, TX 77017. Following the funeral mass will be a committal service at 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home Cemetery. Reception Following at Park Grocery, 8839 ParkTerrace, Houston, Tx 77017.
