Mae (Lillie Mae) Hamilton passed away on November 2, 2022 after a long fight with Lewy Body Dementia. She is preceded in death by her husband of 24 years Glenn Hamilton, mother Martha (Gigi) Jozwiak, grandson, Shawn Fulfer, and son-in-law Don Jones. Mae is survived by her daughter Terri Jones, granddaughter Brittany LaRoche (Sean LaRoche), great granddaughter Eliese LaRoche, daughter Kimberly Faldyn (Don Faldyn), and grandchildren Rachel Bear (Keagan Bear), Kyle Faldyn and Jared Faldyn.
Mae was born in Chappell Hill, Texas on July 17, 1937. She moved to Houston with her mother and graduated from Incarnate Word Academy in 1955. She was a lifelong member of both St. Rose of Lima and St. Ambrose Catholic Church. She loved to dance and was a trained tap and ballet dancer. Mae married the love of her life, Glenn Hamilton on August 24, 1957. She worked at Travelers Insurance Agency in her early years and became a homemaker once Terri and Kim were born. She made the best pies, loved working in her yard, and was always wearing the latest fashions. Mae, otherwise known as Gan-Gan, kept her grandchildren when they were infants so that Terri and Kim could continue their careers. She loved spoiling them with Big Red Floats, teaching them to play poker and kept them entertained with her own Toys R Us collection as they grew up. We would like to thank Village Green Memory Care, especially Aria, Nicki and Christine for taking such great care of Buttercup and Mae-Mae, as they affectionately called her, in her final days. She was the best wife, mother, grandmother, friend and neighbor to so many, and she will be dearly missed. We love you and miss you already Mom!
