He was preceded in death by his son, Terry Henderson; parents, Ira and Kizzie Henderson; brothers, Curtis, Oxley and Levi Henderson; and sister, Minnie Lou Westbrooke.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Henderson; children and spouses, James Henderson, Bill and Stacey Henderson, Greg and Kathy McGill, Tammy and Fernando Martinez, and Sherry and Doug Sherwood; and grandchildren, Michelle and Matthew McGill, Makenna and Trevor Henderson, Brady and Dylan Sherwood and Lindsey Sadler. He is also survived by brothers, Franklin and Allen Henderson, and sister, Orma Lee Hall, along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 3, at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 N. Freeway, Houston, TX 77060. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4, in the chapel of Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
